Marsha Canham (born November 19, 1950) is a Canadian writer of historical romance novels since 1984. She has won two ''Romantic Times'' Lifetime Achievement Awards, as well as multiple awards for individual books including Best Historical of the Year, Best Medieval of the Year, Best book of the Year, Storyteller of the Year, Best Swashbuckler of the Year. ==Biography== Canham was born in Toronto, Canada, where she resides, to a policeman and a homemaker. Marsha has one son and two grandchildren.〔 Her sister is Canadian politician Carolyn Parrish. In 1984, Marsha published her first historical romance, titled ''China Rose'', and has seventeen such novels in print, including one contemporary romance. She is best known for her award-winning romance trilogies, one set in Scotland: ''The Pride of Lions'', ''The Blood of Roses'', and ''Midnight Honor''. The other is set in Medieval England and deals with her own interpretation of the Robin Hood legend: ''Through a Dark Mist'', ''In the Shadow of Midnight'', and ''The Last Arrow''.
